Since 1958

ALEX was founded in 1953 to produce precision instruments and started to manufacture industrial castors and wheels in 1958.

Founders José Asens Rebollo and Ángel Urquizu Escorgigüela originally established the company in a small office in Barcelona. It was their hard work and dedication that converted ALEX into the renowned firm it is today and the Spanish leader in castors and wheels.

A measure of their success is that the fact that ALEX has some 12,000m2 of industrial premises located on 25,000m2 on the outskirts of Barcelona.

Currently the company is run by the second generation of managers and they are fully committed to maintaining the Alex name at the forefront of castors and wheels brands in the world.
